Dr. Steven Zeldis is a graduate of Yale medical school and completed his residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Hospital. His cardiology fellowship was completed at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Zeldis has served on the staff of both Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Winthrop- University Hospitals.

During the past twenty one years at Winthrop-University Hospital, Dr. Zeldis served as Chief of Cardiology, Director of Medical Education and Director of the Non-invasive Cardiology Laboratory.

Dr. Zeldis is a distinguished clinical, teacher, and researcher. He has received a Leadership Award from the American Heart Association, Nassau county chapter. He serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at SUNY, Stony Brook and he is well known to the Long Island medical community for his teaching and clinical activities. He is extensively well written in many areas of Cardiovascular Diseases, and enjoys a warm and caring relationship with his patients.
