We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. George Juang, Cardiac Electrophysiologist, to Long Island Heart Associates. Dr. Juang left his position as Assistant Director of the Electrophysiology Center at Winthrop-University Hospital and joined the practice full time in July. He is a highly-regarded electrophysiologist, specializing in pacemaker and defibrillator implantation.

Dr. Juang received his A.B. in Biochemistry cum laude from Harvard College and his M.D. from the University of Chicago in 1994. After an internship and residency at the University of California Los Angeles David Geffen School of Medicine, he completed Fellowships in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Juang's awards and honors include an American Heart Association Fellowship, an International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation Fellowship and a National Institutes of Health Training Grant. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. His work has been published in numerous medical journals.
