Dr. George Yiachos received his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook in 1991. His fellowship in cardiology was completed at Winthrop University Hospital in 1997 where he also completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine. He is recognized by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases.

 His credits also include Assistant Clinical Instructorship at SUNY Stony Brook and a full time attending position in the department of Cardiovascular Diseases at Winthrop University Hospital. He has also served on the hospital's Residency and Cardiovascular Committees.

He has been a practicing cardiologist at Long Island Heart Associates since 1998 and sees patients in Mineola, Plainview and Manhasset. In addition, he is fluent in Greek.
