Long Island Heart Associates was founded in 1994 by      Dr. Steven Shayani. His goal was to create a cardiology program that could provide a multitude of services for patients, with a particular focus on quality, compassionate care. The practice has now grown to nine physicians and six offices. With the addition of our new GE Ultrafast CAT scanner, we are proud to be the pioneers in cardiac imaging and the most technologically advanced heart center on the east coast.
